🎯 Aim
To investigate how the kidney filters blood, controls water and how dialysis replaces it.
You will learn to
- Describe ultrafiltration and selective reabsorption.
- Explain the role of ADH.
- Interpret plasma, filtrate and urine data.
- Explain how dialysis works.
🧭 What to do
- Change Water drunk per day and read ADH and urine.
- Choose Hot day: what changes?
- Raise Blood glucose above 10 mmol/L.
- Move Time on the machine and read the urea level.
- Answer the questions with the class data.
- Write your conclusion and download your lab report.
📋 The data
Composition of plasma, filtrate and urine.
